A team of dedicated volunteers travelled to Puerto Plata to help the local missionaries, Jason and Michelle Little with (un)adopted in their on going work in the Dominican Republic (the DR). Thanks to our support from the Cap Cana Tournament in the DR, Reel Life was able to provide some funding that was necessary to begin the renovation of a Life Skills Center. The team that went on this trip began the practical work of renovating this Life Skills Center. Inside the walls of this facility, older orphans will be taught valuable life and family skills. In addition, the kids will learn trades and be set up with apprenticeships so that they will be able to successfully make the transition into society. By working alongside locals, as well as the local missionaries, these volunteers built meaningful relationships with them. They also enjoyed their time investing in the lives of the 12 unadoptable orphan boys of Casa de Niños.
