In early November, Reel Life mobilized its first international team to serve in a foreign land. A pastor and member of the church in Tijuana joined several others from southern California, Alabama, South Carolina and Virginia to serve in Cuba with Strategic Sports International. In areas just outside Havana, the team Conducted gospel-centered medical clinics and delivered water purification systems to local house churches. Volunteers also participated in youth mentoring and discipleship sessions as well as two women’s bible conferences.

The number of lives impacted was incredible. Throughout the week, there was an outpouring of people who surrendered their lives to Jesus Christ and got connected with a local house church!  Upon returning, repeat Reel Life volunteer Keith Russell of Birmingham, AL observed, “The week was absolutely amazing. I don’t know how it could have possibly gone any better. You guys will have a hard time improving on that!”
