The Church desperately needs its members to step up and help form a culture of Biblical discipleship. This is a central command of Scripture for all followers of Christ, and foundational to God’s plan for taking His gospel to the ends of the earth.
“The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few.”– Matthew 9:37
What is My Role?
First, we invite everyone to be involved in structured discipleship. If you are an unbeliever interested in further exploring the claims of Christ, contact us and we will help connect you with someone who would love to study with you. Or if you are a new or untrained believer, we would love to help you get involved in a group studying how to grow in your relationship with Christ.
If you are a mature believer, able to study God’s word and pray apart from outside assistance, you are ready to disciple others. Having all of the answers is not only not required, it will never happen this side of eternity! A general understanding of basic, sound theology is critical, and we all need to continue the process of our growth and maturity in Christ. But if you are waiting until you are fully trained before you begin, that time will never come. The key is to step out in obedience and have a solid support network of mature believers around you. (Proverbs 27:17)
If you are already a teacher or leader, we invite you to prayerfully consider teaching and encouraging others to multiply their faith. Your goal should be for those in your small group or Bible study to begin discipling new or untrained believers. This is the basic premise of multiplication, and anything that falls short of this falls short of God’s design for His followers.
Are you multiplying your faith? If not, let us help you engage in the mission of God for the Glory of God! Contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org to get involved today!
