Sent Have you ever considered … Why did Jesus COME? While there are many reasons, let me state three: “Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them.” (Matthew 5:17) Jesus came to fulfill the law. For I […]
The Revelation of the Glory of God Have you ever wondered why Jesus did miracles? The account of Jesus’ first miracle gives us some insight to that question. Jesus’ first public miracle is recorded in John chapter 2, the miracle of turning water into wine. There are many things that could be said […]
Jesus and Social Distancing In the first chapter of Mark, we see an interesting and profound encounter with Jesus and man with leprosy. Leprosy is a skin disease that is highly contagious. In the times of the Bible, when someone had leprosy, they were required to keep their distance from all other people. Furthermore, […]
The Favor of God If you could ask for one thing this year, what would it be? I would submit that nothing could be better to ask for than to live in the Favor of God. In the familiar Christmas Story passage of Luke 2, we hear the multitude of the heavenly […]
Have You Met Jesus? The first thing Andrew did was to find his brother Simon and tell him, “We have found Messiah” (that is, the Christ). John 1:41 Have you met Jesus? Do you know Him? I would submit that there is no greater question to ask of yourself or ask anyone else than […]
