When you think of Reel Life International, you may think of the short-term mission trips we lead to countries around the world. But there’s another important part of what we do. Reel Life also comes alongside churches, universities, and organizations to coordinate their mission experiences.

Our goal is to handle the details so that partner organizations can focus on what matters most … serving others and sharing the Gospel.

Baseball Ministry in the Dominican Republic

Most recently, we had the privilege of hosting a group of college-aged baseball players and their leaders (led by Al Baker) to the Dominican Republic. In the DR, baseball is a powerful tool for ministry. Children ages 11 through 16 years old are playing baseball all day long, six days a week, in hopes they eventually will play in the major leagues. As the mission team played baseball with the locals, they shared with the young people that regardless of their level of success, true satisfaction will only come through a relationship with Jesus.

Physical Therapy & Ministry in Southern Baja

In addition, we partnered with Samford University’s Doctor of Physical Therapy program in August as they traveled to Southern Baja to lead medical clinics, community outreach, and evangelism.

Through both of these trips, God opened doors for relationships and Gospel conversations, leading several to pray to receive Jesus!

Looking Ahead

In addition to these trips, Reel Life is currently working closely to plan Spring Break trips to Panama, Costa Rica, and Baja with Onward at Auburn University and Campus Outreach at the University of Alabama and Ole Miss. And we are working closely with several churches to plan their spring trips.
